Softline is now Sage
·28 Jan 2013
Softline, the company behind the popular Pastel and Accpac product range, is rebranding to Sage.
The Sage Group plc, a UK based business management software company, acquired Softline in 2003.
Despite the acquisition, the Softline name stuck around, partly because the Sage brand was associated with an insurance company at the time.
This has now changed, and the company felt it was time to change the Softline brand to its holding company Sage.
Sage (formerly Softline) offers a wide range of solutions from accounting, payroll and HR to retail software solutions. This includes well-known brands like Pastel, Accpac and Netcash.
From the 1st of February the Softline branding will fall away and be replaced by Sage.
