Times Media offloads Career Junction

Times Media Group (TMG) has announced the sale of its recruitment arm, Career Junction, to Saon Group, according to Fin24.
The financial terms of the deal were not revealed.
Saon Group is part of StepStone, which owns SA recruitment firm, PNet.
Fin24 cited Media24 CEO Andrew Bonamour as saying that Career Junction was the last in non-core disposals for the group.
Times Media has been on a drive to sell its ‘non-core assets’ including cinema chain, Nu Metro, Exclusive Books, The Van Schaik Group of Companies, and I-Net Bridge.
TMG said it aims to build the company into a pan-African media house focused on content, radio, TV, digital and newspapers.
