FNB adds to its Apple armoury

First National Bank (FNB) has announced the addition of the iPhone 5 and the iPad mini to its smart device offer.

New and existing FNB Cheque Account clients can order the latest Apple technology at a reduced rate with 24 months to pay.

Prices for the iPhone 5 will start from R359 per month with zero additional fees, interest or charges, the bank said.

The iPhone 5 will be available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. Due to the high demand expected, initially stock will be limited. “We encourage FNB clients to place their orders early to ensure a top placement on the waiting list for the latest Apple technology” said Kartik Mistry, head of smart devices at FNB Core Banking Solutions.

FNB will also make the iPad mini available. Prices will start from R195 per month. Clients who hold an FNB Cheque Account and Credit Card with a balance transfer of R10,000 or more may qualify for an additional discount of up to R100 per month.

“I am sure that customers with existing devices may be keen to take up one of the new additions to the FNB device family. In this case, customers are welcome to settle the amount owing on their previous device, and recontract with FNB for either the iPhone 5 or iPad mini,” Mistry said.
