Jacobs is the CEO of GoTyme Bank – a position he has held since the beginning of 2026.
He is a founding member of GoTyme Bank and has extensive experience within the organisation.
Jacobs worked at Standard Bank and Deloitte before joining GoTyme Bank – previously TymeBank – in 2012 as a sales and distribution manager.
He quickly climbed the ranks to take on roles like national operations manager at Tyme Infield and Head of Sales and Services. He was appointed to the latter role in 2019, the year GoTyme Bank launched.
Jacobs was then appointed as Chief Commercial Officer in 2022 and played a key role in driving revenue generation and business growth.
He holds a BCom in Industrial Psychology from the University of the Western Cape and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from the University of Pretoria’s Gordon Institute of Business Science.
