South Africans waiting until Black Friday to plan the perfect getaway can choose from a number of flight, travel and accommodation deals.
With the biggest sales day in South Africa set to fall on 29 November, travel agencies and accommodation platforms are slowly launching their deals.
Here’s where you can start your search for the best travel deals.
Club Med has a number of package deals as part of its Black Friday deals including trips to the Alps.
The group also has a special deal where it is offering free flights to Mauritius as part of one of its packages.

Cape Nature said that clients using the online booking system on 29 November 2019 will qualify for a 50% discount for any bookings made for the period 15 January 2020 to 31 March 2020.
This deal applies to a number of reserves, including the following:

Contiki said that it will be offering a number of deals from Black Friday (29 November) until Cyber Monday (2 December).
The group specialises on travel for 18-35 year old’s and it has indicated that a number of packages will be on sale over the weekend.

Flight centre has confirmed that it will have a number of Black Friday deals on flights and packages.
Some of the most notable deals include:
- 7 nights in Zanzibar, including flights – from R7,650
- 7 nights in Bali, including flights – from R8,090
- 7 nights in Phuket, including flights – from R7,450
Kulula says that it will have a number of deals on discounted flights and holidays on 29 November.

SafariNow has launched its Black Friday sale with 1000’s of deals at up to 65% off.
The group currently has accommodation deals on everything from upmarket apartments in Sandton to luxurious Cape Town villas.

STA Travel said it will be launch a number of epic Black Friday travel specials before the official big day on 29 November.

Trafalgar has launched its Black Friday deals offering up to 20% off on worldwide trips.

Thompson’s has launched its Black Friday specials early, with a number of local and international package deals.

Travelstart said that its annual ‘Black Flyday’ event will officially start on 29 November.
The group said that a number of flights and package deals will be available on the day, with customers having the option to join a mailing list to get first access to some deals.
