A R220 million development in Umhlanga is currently under construction, and upon completion will serve at the regional headquarters for auditing firm, KPMG.
The Pran Boulevard development, built by Shree Property Holdings and designed by the Paragon Group, will offer over 6,500 square metres of lettable space with office functions, canteens, and a coffee shop.
It is located in the heart of Umhlanga’s Ridgeside precinct, which is currently one of South Africa’s most attractive mixed-use investment destinations and is pegged to be the future high-end CBD of Durban.
The concept was based on a building that could be single or multi-tenanted, Paragon said, with the structure divided into two buildings – one of which will be occupied by KPMG, and the other by the developers themselves.
According to Shree, two other office spaces (600 square metres and 660 square metres) are available for other businesses, letting for R115,000 and R125,000 per month, respectively.
The development broke ground in November 2016, and the building is expected to be completed by May 2018.
