Altron shows off new corporate identity
Allied Electronics (Altron) has unveiled its new corporate identity and company logo following its business restructuring last year.
In mid- to late-2013, after a total acquisition of Allied Technologies (Altech), Altron announced a group reorganisation into two main divisions, namely Altron TMT (Telecommunications, Multi-media and Information Technology) and Altron Power.
The Altron TMT division is made up of the Altech and Bytes businesses, with the two continuing to exist as separate entities maintaining their established brand identities, while Altron Power consists of the group’s Powertech business.
According to Altron, it believes that a coherent brand portfolio is essential for activating an organisation’s business strategy, easing customer navigation and driving stakeholder understanding.
“The [new corporate] identity better reflects the group’s corporate brand and more accordingly reflects its strategy following the reorganisation,” Altron said in a statement on Wednesday (15 January 2014).
“The identity is also inspired by Altron’s fundamental shift from being an investment holding company, to an operating company.”
