Eskom gives load shedding update for the week ahead
Power utility Eskom says that load shedding will switch between daytime suspensions and stage 2 in the evenings this week.
In order to replenish the emergency reserves for the week ahead, Stage 2 load shedding will be implemented from 16h00 on Sunday until 05h00 on Monday morning.
However, load shedding will be suspended between 05h00 and 16h00 before moving to stage 2 in the evenings between 16h00 and 05h00 until further notice.
Eskom said it will communicate any significant changes should they occur.
Sunday, 24 March
- Stage 1: until 16h00
- Stage 2: 16h00 to 00h00
Monday, 25 March (repeats until further notice)
- Stage 2: 00h00 to 05h00
- Suspended: 05h00 to 16h00
- Stage 2: 16h00 to 00h00
