Chris Zietsman is the chief executive officer of SnapScan – one of the first contactless payments platforms in South Africa when it launched in 2013.
Having served as chief financial officer at SnapScan from 2016, Zietsman was appointed as CEO in 2019.
Zietsman started his career as a chartered accountant and aims to combine finance and technology to offer easy payment solutions to South Africans.
SnapScan launched one of the first mobile payment apps in South Africa – combining ingenuity with Standard Bank’s financial infrastructure and expertise.
