EOH posts stellar results
EOH, the listed technology services provider on Wednesday reported a 30% rise in revenue for the six months ended January 2016, to R6 billion.
The growth is attributable to a combination of strong organic growth and recent acquisitions with organic growth contributing 54% of the growth in revenue.
Additional results highlights:
- Operating profit was up 35% to R682 million
- Profit for the period was up 36% to R464 million
- HEPS advanced 24% to 359 cents
- EPS was up 23% to 358 cents
- Cash increased 6% to R1.561 billion
Overall services revenue is up 28%, software sales is up 87% and the sales of infrastructure products is up 7% compared with the corresponding period.
Revenue from the regions outside of South Africa also grew, EOH said, but added a that it remains a strong South African company with sales in South Africa contributing 87% of revenue.
The rest of Africa accounts for 9% of total revenue and the rest of the world, 4% of total revenue.
Looking ahead, EOH said it will continue to develop new solutions, new lines of business, enhance its industry-specific businesses and expand its service offerings into new territories.
EOH has a wide range of Outsourcing, Cloud, Managed Services, Industrial Technologies and Business Process Outsourcing (‘BPO’) solutions, and employs 11,500 staff members delivering these services to over 5,000 large enterprise customers.
