The Acquisition will be made by Logicalis’ 60% subsidiary Promon Logicalis Latin America Limited. The cash consideration has not been disclosed.
Logicalis says the acquisition further builds on its presence in Latin America, combining Cibercall’s local market knowledge and strong customer relationships, with its existing ICT solutions portfolio, technical expertise and sound financial position.
Cibercall’s main vendor partner is Cisco Systems, and this acquisition strengthens the already strong Logicalis – Cisco relationship, the group added.
Cibercall’s solutions portfolio includes implementation, support, training, help-desk and managed services. Cibercall has 45 employees and achieved unaudited revenues in excess of $12 million in its financial year ended 31 December 2011.
Jens Montanana, Datatec’s chief executive said: “Cibercall’s solution offering and skill base is highly complementary to Logicalis’ and we are delighted to have completed this transaction.
“This acquisition extends Logicalis’ Latin American footprint and will enable the business to pursue a broader range of commercial and telecoms customer opportunities in the region. Notably, it also provides significant presence in South America’s third largest economy.”
