Vodacom Business shows strong growth

Vodacom Business is seeing excellent take-up and retention of customers, especially in the enterprise and public sector. This is word from Chris Lazarus, managing executive for Vodacom Business Services.
Lazarus told MyBroadband BusinessTech that Vodacom Business’ product suite continues to grow, aimed at meeting customer needs and requests.
According to Lazarus, Vodacom Business’ fixed business services revenue doubled in growth this year so far, and he expects around 70% growth in revenue 2012.
“As a new entrant in the fixed space, Vodacom Business Services has clearly established a presence in the market, having won customers across large enterprise, public sector and SME,” said Lazarus.
Virtual Private Network products and Voice over IP services were the best performing services, said Lazarus. “The fixed business products that grew the most is VPNs (132%) and VOIP (255%).”
“The business has built a product suite in the 3 years since [being] founded, [which] competes with existing players across the continent. The core areas are Access, Hosted services and Managed services. Access and Managed services are the largest revenue contributors,” Lazarus concluded.
