MTN Group has announced that its current MTN Zambia CEO, Philip van Dalsen will be leaving the company at the end of September.
In January this year, van Dalsen moved to MTN Zambia to become its CEO, having previously served as CEO of MTN Cyprus.
MTN Rwanda CEO Bart Hofker will take over the reins from van Dalsen when he leaves, while Mitwa Kaemba Ng’ambi – former CMO of MTN Benin – has been appointed as the new CEO of MTN Rwanda.
MTN’s CEO in Cote d’Ivoire, Freddy Tchala, will also be leaving the company at the end of September after working at MTN for 17 years.
No replacement has been named for Tchala yet.
