Craig Kidson joins Cell C
Craig Kidson has been appointed as the executive head of consumer sales at Cell C. Kidson replaces Sue Kennedy, Cell C’s executive head of sales and distribution, who left the company towards the end of 2011.
Kidson comes from a strong sales and distribution background, with positions like head of retail sales at MTN and the sales director for Samsung mobile phones in South Arica.
Kidson is also not new to Cell C. He was previously the executive head of sales and distribution at Cell C, but left the company in late 2007.
This appointment comes only two weeks after Cell C announced that it had appointed Alan Knott-Craig as the new chief executive officer.
Knott-Craig said that a strong distribution channel is a key focus area for him to improve the company’s sales.
