Change for Vodacom board

Vodacom has announced that Nick Read will step down from the group board with effect from 5 February 2014.
This follows his recent appointment as chief financial officer designate of the Vodafone Group on 1 January 2014.
Peter Moyo, chairman of Vodacom Group, thanked Read for his valuable contribution to the board and wished much success in his new role at Vodafone.
Vodacom advised shareholders that Serpil Timuray who was appointed to the board in
September 2012 will succeed Read on 5 February 2014 as a member of the Vodacom Group.
