MTN announces standard international call rates

MTN has standardised its international call rates across its prepaid, top up, and contract price plans, effective 1 March 2014.
This follows the conclusion of the group’s previous “Lowest International Call Rates” promotion, which ended on 28 February.
MTN has announced new permanent rates, starting at 99 cents per minute, which aren’t quite as low as the previous promo prices.
The rates are charged as per second rates, and will automatically apply to all MTN customers throughout the day.
MTN said that customers will be able to view the applicable call rate to their chosen destination by dialling *111*2# on their mobile device, or by visiting the MTN website.
