Microsoft has announced that its free Windows 10 upgrade offer will end on 29 July, and has urged users to upgrade before this date.

After 29 July, users will be able to get Windows 10 on a new device or purchase a full version of Windows 10 Home for $119.

The free upgrade offer was a first for Microsoft and according to the company, Windows 10 now runs on 300 million active devices.

“Over 63 billion minutes were spent on Microsoft Edge in March alone, with 50% growth in minutes since the last quarter,” said Microsoft.

“Exclusively available on Windows 10, Microsoft Edge is our modern browser for helping you get things done.”
