Cell C joins unlimited/limitless fray with Infinity
Cell C has announced their “Straight Up Infinity” package, which for R999 per month on a 24-month contract gives Cell C contract customers 3GB of data, free on-net (Cell C to Cell C) calls, and the choice of any smartphone available through Cell C.
Straight Up Infinity will be available from 1 June 2013 at Cell C stores.
The out of bundle data rate will be 15c per MB. All off-net calls will be billed at 99c. The 99c international calling rate to 54 countries will also apply (no opt-in required).
All of Cell C’s other value-added services can be bolted onto this package.
“Cell C contract customers have been asking us for a little something extra and we think the new Infinity package delivers on that. With Cell C’s 99c call rate, you talk for 100 minutes to other networks and simply add on R99. Compare this deal to any deal out there and you’ll realise that our Unreal Deal is Real,” said Cell C Chief Commercial Officer, Jose Dos Santos.
