Inside a R115 million luxury home in Constantia
Realtor Pam Golding has listed yet another multi-million rand mansion for sale in the Western Cape – this time in Constantia.
The 1,850 square metre home features 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, an indoor pool, and loads of space – and is listed for a sale price of R115 million.
According to Pam Golding, the home was designed for entertainment, with indoor and outdoor living and “copious” accommodation for guests. Rates and taxes come to around R21,000 per month.
While the house is listed for R115 million, it does not necessarily mean it will sell for that price – but there are certainly those who can afford it.
Recently, a home on Nettleton Road in Clifton sold for a whopping R111 million to a Johannesburg buyer.
According to data from Pam Golding, as many as 40% of home buyers on the Cape Town Atlantic seaboard are from Gauteng.
While Constantia may not offer the same sea views as Clifton, it remains one of the most affluent suburbs in South Africa, home to many high net worth individuals.
It is one of Cape Town’s oldest suburbs, famed for its wine and magnificent views, and is host to over 80 luxury homes, according to New World Wealth.
