Inside a R150 million mansion on South Africa’s most expensive street

A new property has come onto the market in Cape Town, with an asking price of R150 million.

The house is located on a 1,627 m² property in Clifton on the Atlantic Seaboard, on Nettleton Road – the most expensive street in the country.

The house features 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms and 6 garages – clearly built for owners who expect to entertain.

Additional features include 24 hour security presence as well as access via a private drive way. There’s a touch screen alarm system, CCTV system and Wi-Fi throughout the home.

Rates and taxes amount to R15,800 per month.

Late in 2015, a home on Nettleton Road sold for R111 million to a Johannesburg buyer.

According to data from Pam Golding, as many as 40% of home buyers on the Cape Town Atlantic seaboard are from Gauteng.
