Watch: cruise ship smashes into dock

New video footage has emerged showing a cruise ship coming in hot while trying to dock, smashing into a pier in San Diego.
Footage obtained by Sky News shows a whale-watching boat blowing its horn as it approaches the dock, in an attempt to warn tourists to get out of the way.
The footage shows an elderly woman struggling to escape the path of the oncoming vessel.
The broadcaster reported that seven people were injured in the accident. “None of the injuries was life-threatening,” it said.
Officials say a mechanical malfunction apparently prevented the ship from stopping in time.
