Incredible Connection appoints new CEO, COO
Incredible Connection has announced the appointment of its new chief executive and chief operating officers.
Taking over the reigns as CEO from acting chief exective, Stefan Marnewick, is Marco van Niekerk. Van Niekerk was previously heading up the group’s new business development for retail, since joining in January 2012.
He has worked in various industries including services, wholesale, retail, imports, manufacturing and distribution.
Van Niekerk will continue to manage the new business development portfolio as well as being responsible for Incredible Connection.
Incredible Connection has also appointed David Jacobson as the chief operating officer for the company. Jacobson has previous experience as the CFO as Wetherlys and also as the managing director of Coricraft where he managed the strategic turnaround of the brand.
The current structure of Incredible Connection is as follows:
- Chief Executive – Marco van Niekerk
- Chief Operating Officer – David Jacobson
- Financial Director – Stefan Marnewick
- Merchandise Executive – Sean Nelson
- Acting Marketing Executive – Lyndsay Mac Dougall
- HR Executive – Natalie Smith
- IT Executive – Victor Da Silva
Incredible Connection is part of the JD Group which also houses Hi-Fi Corporation under its brands.
