Find out how much your car is worth on SA startup CarZar

Tech startup CarZar says it has implemented new enhancements to improve navigation both online, and on a mobile device.

CarZar, the car buying service for the local second-hand car market, said that sellers can go onto the CarZar.co.za website, and enter their cars details; after which its unique algorithm will generate an estimate for the vehicle’s selling price instantly.

The seller is then able to book a free inspection with one of CarZar’s trained car inspectors – at one of CarZar’s Car Buying Centres or at their preferred location.

Within 20 minutes, the inspector will make a final offer to the seller, it said.

CarZar then makes an instant payment and takes care of all the paperwork.

To improve functionality, the company said it has introduced a mobile friendly experience, increased pricing accuracy and enhanced quote and booking flow.

“On the new website, we introduced a way to better control and manage inspections taking place at customers locations, without the need of manual intervention,” said HeltonVolasco, chief product officer at CarZar.

He says they wanted a non-intrusive way of providing a reminder to customers – allowing users to automatically schedule their appointments on their calendars, as well as reschedule/cancel them at any given time.
