Pick n Pay extends Black Friday deals to Saturday

 ·25 Nov 2017

Pick n Pay has extended its Black Friday promotion deals to Saturday as it looks to cash in on the popularity of the retail phenomenon.

The retail giant said it had customers queuing from well before 7am on Friday, when its Hypers opened, while stores countrywide reported keen interest.

“Customers have been taking advantage of the great deals, especially the everyday essentials like coffee, nappies, detergent and toilet paper. In response to customer requests, we have taken the big move to hold down all Black Friday deal prices until Saturday, while stocks last,” said John Bradshaw, head of marketing at Pick n Pay.

“We first started Black Friday promotions three years ago and its popularity has grown every year to become our biggest one-day promotion of the year. Black Friday at Pick n Pay really helps our shoppers through the holiday season, on top of the big prices cuts that we are putting through every day,” he said.
