SA’s Mediro ICT partners with iQuate
South African IT company, Mediro ICT has entered into a partnership with Dublin-based IT inventory and discovery company, iQuate.
The partnership is described as a “critical part” of iQuate’s business strategy, giving the company access to the South African market.
Mediro’s Business Service Management (BSM) group will offer iQuate’s automated agentless inventory and discovery technology, iQSonar, to SA businesses to manage software license compliance.
“We have seen the main enterprise software vendors such as Microsoft and Oracle increase their audit activity in South Africa in recent years”, comments Neil Richardson, Managing Director Mediro BSM.
“This, along with imminent legislation, has seen large enterprise software customers take this more seriously.”
