These 10 SUVs have the best resale value in South Africa
Vehicle evaluation group, True Price, has published new data showing the SUVs that have the best resale value in South Africa.
The group’s data is gathered from thousands of vehicles sold on auction around the country.
Darryl Jacobson, MD of True Price, said that SUVs are incredibly popular among South African motorists and are often snapped up on auction.
“Globally, SUVs are selling like hotcakes,” he said. This is the one sector of the motor industry that is truly on fire. We are seeing exactly the same happening in the auction arena here in South Africa. SUVs are highly sought-after and, assuming they’re in good condition, they are being snapped up on auction.”
Jacobson stressed that resale value is an essential consideration when buying a new car.
“Depreciation is one of the new car buyer’s greatest expenses. It is absolutely vital to take resale value into consideration before signing on the dotted line,” he said.
