New package sweetens DStv deal
MultiChoice has unveiled its new DStv Extra package, offering 86 entertainment, sports, documentaries and news channels for R380 per month.
The new DStv Extra package fits in between DStv Premium which costs R625 per month for 119 channels, and DStv Compact which is priced at R275 per month for 73 channels.
DStv Extra contains a number of channels not offered on the DStv Compact package, including BBC Entertainment, Comedy Central, E! Entertainment, kykNET, FOX SD, Crime & Investigation Network, The History Channel, VH1 Classic and Sky News.
DStv Extra also includes Supersport Blitz, Supersport 3 and Supersport 4, but not Supersport 1 which carries most rugby matches.
