Communications provider, Metacom, looks set to continue to exceed 30% year-on-year growth – this on the back of new products and services. This is word from Metacom founder, Rean van Niekerk.

Van Niekerk said Metacom, a company which he started in 2001, and is still the majority shareholder of, continues to make inroads into the South African business market with a range of communications services.

Metacom, which has a strong focus on machine-to-machine and business-to-business communications, is set to launch a new range of products in 2012, which it feels will support its 2012 growth target of 30%.

“Metacom will release at least four new products during the year to compliment and augment its current product range. We will continue to expand our communications infrastructure and add highly specialized features,” said van Niekerk.

The company is also planning a bigger footprint in Africa as well as establishing new divisions.

“We will continue to expand into Africa, where we currently operate in 10 countries. We are also planning new divisions within Metacom, details of which will be released during the year,” van Niekerk concluded.
