Eskom suspends load shedding – but stage 2 will be back
Eskom says Load shedding will be suspended every day between 10:00 and 16:00.
Due to sustained generation performance and lower demand for electricity during the day, Stage 2 load shedding will continue to b
Load shedding will be suspended from 11h00 to 16h00 on Wednesday; thereafter, Stage 2 will return until 05h00 on Thursday.
Stage 1 load shedding will then kick in from 05h00 to 10h00 before suspending load shedding in the afternoon from 10h00 to 16h00.
The schedule for the rest of the week is given below.
Wednesday, 24 January
- Stage 1: until 11h00
- Suspended: 11h00 to 16h00
- Stage 2: 16h00 to 00h00
Thursday, 25 January
- Stage 2: 00h00 to 05h00
- Stage 1: 05h00 to 10h00
- Suspended: 10h00 to 16h00
- Stage 2: 16h00 to 00h00
Friday, 26 January
- Stage 2: 00h00 to 05h00
- Stage 1: 05h00 to 10h00
- Suspended: 10h00 to 16h00
- Stage 1: 16h00 to 00h00
