In this Business Talk with Michael Avery interview, Wendy Myers, the Head of Securities at PSG, demystifies investment jargon and talks trading basics.

A veteran of the South African financial landscape, Myers has spent more than two decades refining her expertise across the country’s leading firms.

She qualified at UCT with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting, before getting into the finance and investing industries.

Myers spent 11 years at RMB as a Global Finance Business Partner, before transitioning into executive operations.

Following six years of leadership in COO positions across the FNB and Ashburton Investments ecosystems, she assumed her current role at PSG in 2021.

Today, she combines her rigorous investing background with years of frontline trading experience to lead PSG’s securities division.

Myers is also a member of the South African Institute of Stockbrokers, a position she has held since 2000.
