ComUnity appoints Paris Mashile as chair

Local mobile development company, ComUnity, has confirmed the appointment of former Independent Communications Authority of SA (ICASA) chair, Paris Mashile, as its new chairman.
ComUnity is a mobile services platform that provides tools for companies to provide mobile applications and services, such as mobile retail ecosystems and media systems.
Mashile is currently the programme director for digital multimedia management at the Gordon Institute of Business Science in Johannesburg. He was previously CEO of Vunani Electronics Communications.
He has an extensive regulatory and political background, as well as various degrees in electrical engineering and communications which will undoubtedly be used to benefit ComUnity.
