Santam to list on A2X exchange

Insurer Santam says that its shares have been approved to be traded on A2X with effect from 1 February 2019.

Santam said it will retain its primary listing on the JSE and its listing on the Namibia Stock Exchange and its issued share capital will be unaffected by the secondary listing on A2X.

Shares in the group will be available to be traded on the JSE, the Namibia Stock Exchange and A2X from the A2X listing date.

A2X commenced trading in October 2017 and has nine approved brokers that account for approximately 50% of total market activity.
