Standard Bank has confirmed that a number of its online services are currently experiencing technical issues.
In a statement released on its official twitter page at 10h25 on Thursday morning (24 October), the bank said that the issues means that some customers may find it difficult to log on to internet banking.
It added that its mobile banking app was also experiencing difficulties. As an alternative, the bank said that customers may use its cellphone banking service available via USSD on *120*2345#.
The bank did not provide an exact timeframe for when the services will be online, but that it would advise its clients as soon as the issue was rectified.
At 10h35 its mobile and internet banking apps were not accessible via smartphone or web browser.
