Next round of early Black Friday 2022 deals from Makro, Woolworths and more
As Black Friday approaches on 25 November 2022, retailers who have jumped onto offering early Black Friday deals continue to throw more sales into the mix.
Some major retailers, like Game and Shoprite, are holding back for the big day, but other shops have been extending their Black Friday sales to a month-long affair, with many sales kicking off on 1 November.
Many big names like Makro and Woolworths have opted for a phased approach with their Black Friday sales, launching limited-time deals that run for a week every week before Black Friday.
Starting today (14 November), the next round of deals has launched, including savings on TVs, appliances, gadgets, furniture, fashion, and much more.
Other brands will be launching sales sooner than the 25th, with Vodacom promising up to 75% off in its sale launching on 4 November – while others will be extending their deals well into December to capitalise on the festive season shopping rush.
Online retailers are also expected to offer a number of specials on ‘Cyber Monday’, which falls on 28 November 2022.
Woolworths Black Friday
Woolworths has opened its next Black Friday sales phase, running from 14 to 28 November.
This includes deals like:
- 20% off select appliances
- 25% off select furniture and rugs (30% for WRewards)
- 30% off select fashion items
Makro’s Blazing Hot sale
Makro’s flame sale has entered its third week, with the Blazing Hot sale launching today through 22 November.
After the current sale ends, the Makro Black 5Day sale kicks off on the 23rd and will run over Black Friday to the end of the weekend.
Hirsch’s Level 3 Black Friday deals
Home store Hirsch’s is doing Black Friday in levels throughout the month, with its level 1 through level 3 deals nowunlocked.
Specials include price cuts on TVs, gadgets, appliances, fridges, stoves, furniture, beds and more.
TFG
As part of its ambitions to become a truly digital online omnichannel mall, The Foschini Group (TFG) is hosting all of its store brands in one space for Black Friday, with some deals already kicking off.
This includes specials in homeware, fashion, bedding, jewellery, appliances and much more.
