Cell C launches uncapped fibre-to-the-home
Cell C’s commercial fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) service, C-Fibre, is available to customers from today.
The company has partnered with open access fibre network operator, Vumatel to bring competitive uncapped fibre offerings to customers on the Vumatel footprint.
Cell C is also in discussions with other fibre providers to provide an end-to-end service to customers in other areas across the country, it said.
C-Fibre will initially be available in three flavours, all offering unlimited, unrestricted symmetrical data:
- C-Fibre 20Mbps – R899 per month
- C-Fibre 50Mbps – R1,149 per month
- C-Fibre 100Mbps – R1,499 per month
All offerings include free installation valued at R1,710; free connection worth R999; and a free Wi-Fi router with LTE fail-over worth R1,799.
C-Fibre forms part of Cell C’s focussed broadband strategy and commitment to bring the best-value fixed and mobile broadband services to the market, it said.
