Load shedding suspended for today – here’s the new schedule
Eskom has announced that load shedding will be suspended during the daytime today.
Although Eskom announced earlier today, 6 January that load shedding would only be suspended from 10:00 until 16:00, this has been extended to the whole day.
This was made possible by the return to service of three generating units today.
Eskom said that load shedding will return at stage 1 on Sunday, 7 January.
The updated schedule for the weekend can be found below:

- Suspended: 10h00 to 00h00
