Pinnacle appointed Intel distributor
Listed ICT firm, Pinnacle Technology Holdings says that its ICT distribution subsidiary Pinnacle Africa has inked a deal to become an official distributor of Intel products.
Pinnacle Africa is an entirely owned subsidiary of the JSE listed Pinnacle Technology Holdings Ltd. and works in close synergy with the other subsidiaries including AxizWorkgroup, Datanet and Infrasol.
Pinnacle Africa MD Tim Humphreys-Davies says being appointed as Intel Authorised Distributors will keep the company a step ahead of its competitors, as Authorised Distributors are first to stock new boxed Intel products and are able to offer a broad range of services and support to resellers.
Since August 2013, Intel has introduced over 40 new products for various market segments, ranging from ultra-mobile devices to data centres to the Internet-of-Things.
The company expects an expanding product line-up to grow its business across a broad range of devices and price points.
