Pinnacle Africa appoints new CEO

Former Tarsus CEO, Pierre Spies has joined Pinnacle Africa as its new CEO, the company announced on Monday (2 December 2013).

Spies will take up the role from current CEO, Louis Fourie in June 2014, and will report directly to Pinnacle Group head of distribution, Henry Ferreira.

Fourie will be moving into the role of Group Operations Director, while Pinnacle Africa MD, Tim Humphreys-Davies will remain in the position he was appointed to in May this year, the group said.

Spies is currently a consultant to MB Technologies on a one-year contract following his resignation as Tarsus CEO in May this year.
