Poynting expects 20% earnings rise

Poynting Holdings says it expects headline earnings per share for the year ended June 2012, to be at least 20% higher than 3.28 cents in 2011.

The diversified tech and antenna specialist says it also expects earnings per share to rise by 20%, from 2.95 cents before.

The group improved its revenue to R81.5 million in 2011, with an operating profit of R6.3 million.

“A further trading statement will be published once the company has a greater degree of certainty with regards to its financial results for the year ending 30 June 2012,” it said.

Poynting expects to publish its results on or about 28 September 2012.
