Mustek wins Huawei contract in Zambia

Mustek, an assembler and distributor of personal computers and ICT products, says it has won a contract to supply equipment for Huawei.

The contract is to supply and deliver R128 million worth of Huawei’s ‘signalling and telecommunications’ equipment to a consortium which consists of Huawei International, Bombardier Transportation and GMC Technologies.

The Consortium will provide technology upgrades to Zambia Railway to the value of R550 million.

David Kan, CEO of Mustek said: “Huawei’s selection as part of this Consortium bears testimony to the excellent quality of the company’s products and consultancy services.”
