Business Connexion appoints acting CEO
Listed ICT group, Business Connexion Group (BCX) has appointed Vanessa Olver, currently deputy CEO, as acting CEO of the group following the death of Leetile Benjamin Mophatlane.
The former chief executive officer, Mophatlane, passed away following a cardiac arrest on Wednesday 11, June 2014.
“The Business Connexion Group board of directors met this morning, in light of the passing of the CEO, and has decided to appoint Vanessa Olver, currently the Deputy CEO, as acting CEO of BCX,” the group said in a brief statement on SENS.
In May, Telkom said it has entered into an agreement to acquire BCX in a R2.7 billion cash offer funded from its own cash resources.
