EY Sustainability – DHL’s Bremer Pauw discusses sustainability in supply chain management
Bremer Pauw is an experienced value-driven business leader who is the Managing Director for DHL Supply Chain Africa.
Pauw joined DHL Supply Chain in 2013 and worked at the company for three years, where he climbed the ranks to become general manager.
Pauw then joined Imperial, where he served in several management positions over the next five years – including being the Managing Director for the Ocean Traders International Group and then for the Market Access Consumer group in the SADC East region.
In 2021, Pauw re-joined DHL Supply Chain, where he became the Director for Consumer and Retail in South Africa before taking on his current role.
In this interview, Pauw joins Michael Avery to discuss DHL Supply Chain’s management processes and how they have fared during the disruptions over the last few years.
He then talks about DHL Supply Chain’s expansion into the mining sector, why the business is primed for success in this sector, and the development opportunities this offers to the DHL business.
Pauw also explains how DHL Supply Chain can help its customers overcome supply chain issues in alignment with their carbon-neutral goals.
He concludes by discussing how DHL is fighting to reduce the emissions of its vehicles.
