Low-cost SA airline offering tickets for R2

Low-cost airline, FlySafair, says it is selling tickets for R2, including airport tax, for one day only, on Thursday – 23 June 2016.

“TODAY ONLY we are giving you the chance to book flights for just R2, including airport tax,” the company said on its Facebook page.

It pointed out that there will be 15,000 tickets up for grabs.

FlySafair is a low-cost airline based in Johannesburg, South Africa. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Safair.

The airline operates out of Cape Town International Airport and OR Tambo International Airport.

FlySafair said that a limited number of tickets have been allocated to each route, for travel until the end of September 2016.

Routes will include flights from OR Tambo, Lanseria, Cape Town, East London, George, Port Elizabeth and Durban.

As of April 2016, the FlySafair fleet consists of seven Boeing aircraft.
