New shopping centre developed close to one of the richest towns in South Africa

The new Saxdowne Shopping Centre, anchored by Shoprite and Clicks, is coming to the Stellenbosch area.

This 6,000-square-meter Saxdowne Shopping Centre is convenience store located at the busy intersection of Stellenbosch Arterial and Saxdowne Road.

The development emphasises accessibility, intending to cater to local residents and travellers along this key route in Cape Town’s industrial areas.

It is designed for optimal shopper convenience and easy navigation and will offer a dynamic and vibrant shopping experience.

The shopping centre, developed by Abland Property Developers, is under construction and will launch at the end of 2026.

Abland is a South African-based property development company. Its core business is providing a fully integrated property development and management service.

Commercial, retail and industrial properties form part of the company’s portfolio of services.

The new shopping centre, built on a 1.8-hectare plot, will offer 6,027 square meters of gross lettable area.

Abland said the architectural style embraces the raw and rustic  beauty of the city’s landscape.

On Thursday, 17 October 2015, Abland & Partners announced that they broke new ground at the Saxdowne Shopping Centre.
