MTN has reached an agreement with the Communication Workers Union on pay hikes after months of negotiations.

The two parties have signed a new salary agreement, which it says paves the way for more stability at the company.

“MTN is satisfied it has reached an agreement with the CWU on many issues including minimum wage and pay for performance,” said MTN SA’s CEO Mteto Nyati.

“The signing of this agreement is a clear sign that a strong and stable MTN is in the interest of both parties.”
