The world’s fanciest first-class flights

Flight marketplace experts Flightfox.com has listed the top first-class flights in the world, naming Singapore Airline’s First Class Suites as the ultimate flying experience.

Major international airlines offer elite packages for those who wish to fly in comfort – and have the money to spare. Some airlines offer private suites, while others offer VIP treatment and service.

All, however, will guarantee way more leg room than anyone in cattle-class could ever imagine.

While some ticket costs for these elite flights are quite affordable – such as Swiss Air’s First Class tickets which start from $355 (R3,960), according to Flightfox – tickets can also reach the insane: as much as $9,640 (R107,600) for an ANA First Square flight.

These are the top 10 first-class packages according to Flightfox, as rated by their comfort, food, “rockstar factor”, and hackability.

While Singapore Airline’s Suites were ranked number one overall, with top marks for making passengers feel like a rockstar, Lufthansa’s First Class was rated as having the most comfortable seats and best food and wine.
