The interview
Myers begins this interview by providing her key guidelines that should be considered when deciding when to sell a stock.
She emphasises the importance of controlling the two emotions that often affect investors when deciding whether to sell a stock – greed and fear.
Myers then explains when she believes investors should refrain from selling a stock – even when the temptation exists.
These include being tempted to sell when a stock’s price makes a sudden jump either up or down.
Myers also unpacks the benefits of working with a financial advisor to determine when is the right time to exit a share.
