NSN appoints regional head

Nokia Solutions and Networks (NSN) has appointed Deon Geyser as head of the Southern Africa sub-region.
Geyser has been appointed to oversee all NSN operations in the region, effective immediately, the group said.
According to the company, Geyser has held a number of senior management positions in African telecom companies, including COO at Milicom International Cellular (Tigo) in Tanzania.
His expertise includes mobile broadband, value added services (VAS), billing, business transformation, managed services and customer experience management (CEM).
In his previous role at NSN, he served the company as Country Director for Tanzania from 2007-2012.
