The interview
In this Business Talk interview, Myers unpacks how much exposure to the tech industry South Africans can actually buy on the JSE.
She discusses whether investment in Naspers and Prosus has moved beyond just being a discounted Tencent, and whether investors underestimate the technology opportunities on the JSE by looking in the wrong places.
Myers also outlines what excites her about the emerging market tech sector, touching on notable examples such as MercadoLibre and Nubank.
She concludes the interview by offering her advice for how to build a portfolio that includes emerging market tech exposure and the main risks to be aware of.
