This was a stark contrast to the traditional approach to computer research and development. Through these efforts, employees even began live-streaming and interacting with other players online.
This learning process helped employees internalize their work, which in turn positively influenced clients and consumers, embedding the MSI brand deeply in everyone’s minds.
When it comes to designing and creating a product, Derek was clear that extensive research into consumer needs and market feasibility is crucial before launching a product.
This period can vary, but once a direction is confirmed, MSI takes pride in handling everything from product conception, software and hardware design, to manufacturing in their own factories.
This integrated approach allows them to swiftly adjust product features based on feedback, always prioritizing the consumer’s perspective, which has undeniably been a key factor in their success.
A Collaboration Born from Shared Values: MSI and Mercedes-AMG Motorsport
If there’s one recent laptop that stands out, Derek highlighted the collaboration with Mercedes-AMG. Discussions about the partnership began before the pandemic, as both sides shared similar values and wanted to create something special together.
Despite various delays, they resumed discussions in 2022, and AMG never considered another partner.
